About Us
The Kelly Academy of Irish dance was established in 2015 and is dedicated to providing elite training in Irish Dance and technique by enhancing the strength, flexibility, and coordination of every dancer. It is owned and operated by Caitlin Kelly Rathe, TCRG.
Our classes include both traditional and contemporary styles of Irish Dance and are available for all children ages four and older. Our studio is centrally located in Broward County, right off of I-95. We currently have dancers from Davie, Hollywood, Weston, Plantation, Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, Sea Ranch Lakes, Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach, Coral Springs, Parkland, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and Wellington attending weekly classes.
Kelly Academy dancers participate in numerous competitions and championships around the world each year. Our dancers also routinely perform at various events, such as the Florida Renaissance Festival, corporate galas, weddings, schools, senior living facilities, as well as local pubs and Irish restaurants. The KAID dancers are the recipients of the first place prize of $10,000 after participating in the 2015 Broward 100 WE Duende-The Passion and Rhythm of the People show
